Beat writer Kent Somers notes that Leinart "received more work in certain situations than usual" in Friday's practice, and Arizona is likely to be without starting LT Mike Gandy (pelvis). It's hard to imagine the Cardinals trotting out Warner with journeyman Jeremy Bridges on his blind side. Bridges will square off with NFC sacks leader Jared Allen. This has become a fantasy situation to avoid, as the Cardinals and Vikings don't play until Sunday night.

Kurt Warner - QB - Cardinals Coach Ken Whisenhunt remains optimistic that Kurt Warner (questionable, concussion) will start Sunday night against the Vikings.
Whiz was even more optimistic last week when Matt Leinart took fewer practice snaps and Warner ultimately sat out, so we're taking the rosie outlook with a grain of salt. Unless we receive confirmation by Sunday morning, the Arizona QB situation is one to avoid in fantasy leagues. December 5

Still, the Arizona QB situation is one to avoid with all of the uncertainty surrounding it in a Sunday night game. Backup Matt Leinart wasn't very impressive last week, and wouldn't be a strong fantasy option.

We still have reservations about using Warner as a fantasy starter this week considering that Matt Leinart saw more first-team snaps this week. It doesn't help that Warner's blindside will be exposed against Jared Allen with left tackle Mike Gandy (pelvis) out.

Kurt Warner - QB - Cardinals Yahoo's Michael Silver seconds a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter that Kurt Warner (concussion) will play Sunday night against the Vikings.
Silver wrote a book with Warner and is close to the family, so he's a reliable source. If owners have waited on Warner, he's a safe start against a Vikings secondary likely to be without Antoine Winfield once again. December 6
